ESBB and BBMRI-ERIC are delighted to be holding the 2025 Congress in the Palazzo dei Congressi, Bologna, Italy.

Bologna is the lively, historic capital of the Emilia-Romagna region, in northern Italy. Its Piazza Maggiore is a sprawling plaza lined with arched colonnades, cafes and medieval and Renaissance structures such as City Hall, the Fountain of Neptune and the Basilica di San Petronio. Among the city’s many medieval towers are the Two Towers, leaning Asinelli and Garisenda.

The Palazzo dei Congressi is located inside the Bologna exhibition centre, one of the most important and well-known in Italy.

Rail – 3km / 5 minutes. Main railway junction in Italy and among the most important in Europe. Direction connections with Austria, France, Germany and Switzerland.

Air – 7km. Bologna airport serves connections to the main Italian, European and International Cities. Direct connections to Frankfurt, Münich and Dubai
