Prof. Marialuisa Lavitrano
Marialuisa Lavitrano is a full professor of Pathology at Milano-Bicocca University, directing the Molecular Medicine Unit and the Executive Masters in Research Infrastructure Management. She is the BBMRI.it national node director, has contributed to national and international strategies, and is involved in bioethics. In 2020, she was elected vice-president of the EOSC Association.
Prof. Agnieszka Matera-Witkiewicz
Prof. Agnieszka Matera-Witkiewicz is the ESBB Vice-President and Head of WMU Biobank, the first integrated biobank in Poland with an ISO 9001 certificate and the first international accreditation ISO 20387 in Poland.
In addition, Prof. Matera-Witkiewicz is the BBMRI.pl quality management leader, head of the Polish Committee for Standardization TC Biotechnology, an ISO Expert TC Biotechnology in WG2 Biobanks and Bioresources, and a Polish Expert nominated by the Ministry of Science in OECD VLRI WG. She is the co-author of Quality Standards for Polish Biobanks Handbook– national standards for biobanking.
